Girls love Beyoncé, guys love Katy Perry

Proving that Drake is a prescient genius, Spotify have revealed that indeed, Girls Love  Beyoncé. The streaming service just released a wave of stats which reveal that among female users, Beyonce is the most streamed female artist. For guys, however, Katy Perry is #1. 

Spotify released the data to honour International Women's Day on the weekend. Also on the list: Lana Del Rey, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj. Even Taylor Swift made an appearance as the 8th favourite for women on Spotify, despite having pulled all her music off the streaming service last year.
