MTV Europe Music Awards 2008
US singer Beyonce performs during the award ceremony of the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) in Liverpool, United Kingdom, 06 November 2008. Artists in eight categories will be voted for via internet. Among others, the best male and female singer and the best group will be honoured. Some participating countries also give awards to national artists.
Beyonce Knowles surprised me with her choice of designer for tonight's MTV EMAs. She wore two Gareth Pugh dresses for the event proving that the young British designers items are truly wearable. For the red carpet she opted for a dress from Pugh's Spring line. When Beyonce took to the stage she was wearing a grey industrial dress also by Pugh but from his Autumn '08 collection. I'm really impressed by her fearless approach to Pugh's designs and she is definitely pulling off. Now all we have to do is decide which of his designs suited her best?
